Improving Regional Outcomes
Building on and learning from previous outcomes based accountability work which has taken place within the region, this project seeks to further promote the use of Outcomes Based Accountability (OBA) and provide the opportunity for children's trusts to apply OBA to support the improvement of a range of outcomes linked to teenage pregnancy, which is a common challenging issue across the whole region.
The objectives of this project are to:
- Share good practice in the application of OBA and further promote the use of it as tool within the region through the design and delivery of a" training and action learning programme to Local Authorities across the North East with a focus on Children's Services
- To enable participants to apply OBA to work on and Improve the outcomes associated with teenage pregnancy within the region
- To increase participants confidence in the use of OBA
- To contribute to making a difference to the lives of children and young people across the North East
Through this project a regional OBA network will be established to share best practice and promote the use of OBA. A programme of facilitated workshops will also be delivered to support local authorities within the region in improving outcomes linked to teenage pregnancy.
