Targeted Recruitment & Training project gathers speed

We are piloting software that enables authorities to forecast skills, employment and training needs in advance of major construction projects. This way, we can work with Job Centre Plus and other partners to provide opportunities for local people out of work.
The software is being tested in Hartlepool and Redcar & Cleveland Borough Councils, and we hope to roll it out to other councils later this year. Read more about the project here
