Driving and Supporting Community Safety Outcomes
Home Office, Ministry of Justice and Government Office are collaborating with the RIEP on this project. It is one of three national pilots aimed at supporting performance improvement in Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnerships (CDRPs). It builds on excellent work from 2007/8 led by Community Safety partnership Managers through the Government Office, and includes the design and delivery of induction and member training for new partnership members, sub projects on data sharing and analysis, and help with commissioning and value for money assessments.
The nationally recognised Hallmarks of Effective Practice will provide the backbone of the project which has an additional focus on community safety outcomes that relate to alcohol.
