Recruitment & Retention Programme
This year the North East RIEP is managing the establishment of new regional recruitment portals across England for public sector partners. This will complement existing portals operating in the North East, northeastjobs.org, West Midlands wmjobs.co.uk and Scotland myjobscotland.gov.uk. The portals are free to partners for the first 12 months. Typically these portals expect to realise annual cost savings of up to £350k per top tier authority.

About North East Jobs
The portal was launched in Mar 2009 and is a central place to view all local authority and Fire & Rescue Service vacancies in the North East. Jobseekers can search for jobs, be alerted when suitable jobs become available, apply online, or join the talent pool to showcase your skills.
